This is one of the best straight-forward videos about Ron Paul that I’ve seen from either the 2008 campaign or this one so far. Excellent video to share with people that are still a bit unsure or confused about what Ron Paul is all about.

Now Ron Paul is on the attack, and he has the credibility to pull it off. Remember Donald Trump was the polling flavor of the month once, as Rick Perry is today. Juicy media reports will be coming soon, as Perry is vetted. If Ron Paul ups the ante with more television ads in Iowa and New Hampshire comparing himself to Perry, and launches this offensive in the televised debates, the fur will fly and the polls just might change dramatically.

Remember where you heard it: Perry will self-destruct. The only question is how quickly — and the Ron Paul offensive is a major moment in the campaign.

Ron Paul Campaign Debuts Latest 2012 Campaign Ad

‘Trust’ contrasts Paul’s consistent conservatism with the record of another leading candidate

LAKE JACKSON, Texas– The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign announced today the release of its latest advertisement, “Trust.” The sixty second spot emphasizes Paul’s longtime conservative credentials and early support of Ronald Reagan, while pointing out Rick Perry’s former chairmanship of Al Gore’s presidential campaign.

“Congressman Paul has an unparalleled record of championing true conservative principles,” said Ron Paul 2012 Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton. “Dr. Paul’s ideas of limited Constitutional government, sound money and balanced budgets have won the day.”

“Other candidates are trying to parrot Dr. Paul’s principles, but their records prove they cannot be trusted to live up to their rhetoric. Dr. Paul is the only candidate with the credibility and integrity to restore America now.”

The ad also notes the similarities between the candidacies of Paul and Reagan, with both being attacked by the political establishment as “too extreme” and questioning their electability. Reagan, like Paul, was dismissed by the establishment elites. Congressman Paul was one of only four Congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan against incumbent Gerald Ford and lead the Texas delegation for Reagan to the 1976 Republican National Convention.

The ad will appear in both broadcast and web format, with substantial air-time buys in New Hampshire and Iowa. The spot will also be sent to multiple conservative and TEA Party email lists and appear in banner ads across the internet.

Jesse Benton will be available for interview to discuss the ad and the contrast between Dr. Paul and Governor Perry’s records.

Right on, Jon Stewart! He calls ‘em like he seems ‘em, which is why Fox News attacks him. He can see the bias against Ron Paul in the media and puts it in terms even a Neocon can recognize.

As a side not, why would the media be so unified in their bipartisan support against Congressman Ron Paul? Maybe he is actually the one that will create real change in D.C.?

Ron Paul is hitting his stride at the right time. Great performance at the Iowa Debate on 08/11/2011. Overall, the entire debate was very good. After watching, two things are clear:

1. Ron Paul is the Only One With a Clue!
2. Rick Santorum should make any sane person nervous!

Here’s a couple of polls done post debate. The first is from TheBlaze.com which is the “narcissistic one’s” website, and the second from FoxNews.com. Both are sure to change. These are a 2:45 AM EST. Last time by morning the polls changed to even show Ron Paul at zero %.

Ron Paul is Going After the TSA!

A good barometer if a candidate is a true patriot might be if they actually defend the constitution.

Where are Bachmann, Romney, Palin, Perry and the rest of the 2012 lineup on this?

FYI: The 4^th Amendment happens to be part of the U.S. Constitution:

Amendment IV:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/bill_of_rights_transcript.html

The TSA’s illegal search and enhanced pat-downs are clearly a violation of the 4th Amendment. How many of the so called “TeaParty Candidates” are doing anything about these? Let alone even talking about the TSA?

Today Congressman Ron Paul announced that he will re-introduce a Bill in Congress to curtail the TSA’s blatant disregard for the 4^th Amendment, called the “American Traveler Dignity Act”.

In the wake of last week’s demise of the effort on behalf of Texas lawmakers to criminalize TSA transgressions, Congressman Ron Paul has taken up the cause, once again proving he is the only serious presidential candidate when it comes to protecting the liberties of Americans.

Paul announced today, on Independence Day, that he will introduce legislation into the House this week that will directly target not only grossly invasive TSA pat downs, but also the use of harmful radiation emitting body scanners.

“This week I am introducing the American Traveler Dignity Act, which establishes that airport security screeners are not immune from any US law regarding physical contact with another person, making images of another person, or causing physical harm through the use of radiation emitting from machinery on another person.” The Congressman stated in his weekly Texas Straight Talk update.

“They are not above laws the rest of us must obey.” Paul urged. “As we continue to see more and more outrageous stories of TSA abuses and failures, I hope that my colleagues within the House will listen to their constituents and join with me to support this legislation. ” The Congressman added.

“The press reports are horrifying. 95 year old women humiliated, children molested, disabled people abused. Men and women subjected to unwarranted groping and touching of their most private areas, and involuntary radiation exposure.” Paul stated.

“If the perpetrators were a gang of criminals, their headquarters would be raided by SWAT teams and armed federal agents. Unfortunately in this case, the perpetrators are armed federal agents.” he continued.

The Congressman previously introduced the legislation, H.R. 6416, last November, however it did not pass committee.

The bill contains just a short section that reads:

No law of the United States shall be construed to confer any immunity for a Federal employee or agency or any individual or entity that receives Federal funds, who subjects an individual to any physical contact (including contact with any clothing the individual is wearing), x-rays, or millimeter waves, or aids in the creation of or views a representation of any part of a individual’s body covered by clothing as a condition for such individual to be in an airport or to fly in an aircraft. The preceding sentence shall apply even if the individual or the individual’s parent, guardian, or any other individual gives consent.
