Yes! and I am impressed with the way she has been handling herself. Not just the Beck thing but in general. It's hard to imagine how much heat an increasingly popular candidate would get if going against the big money.

There is something rather fascinating going in Texas, in particular, and I suspect that the reason why Medina was targeted by establishment forces is that the there are many Americans who have been divided and conquered aligning themselves with one party or another who are confused and uncertain in their loyalties. If you can somehow paint True Constitutionalists as fringe radicals than that reduces their cross over appeal. Right now in America you have citizens who are registered in both political parties, whom were they to stop and think might say: "You know in the end, I am not so sure if Big Government really helps me, even if it might give me a low paying gov't job, health care or unemployment insurance to make me secure." The fear of falling out of the bottom of our system keeps many people enslaved and trapped into the existing construct looking to the ruling classes for answers. The vast majority of people do not see what is happening in America because the forces of distraction in our media, our culture have the people worshiping false idols, icons and leaders. There will be no revolution until there is an "Evolution" and thing is you cannot count on the forces who want to enslave to enlighten.

Yes, and I think there was a recent study that showed 36% of Americans are OK with Socialism and I suspect if people realized what the word meant, the number would be higher.

I am a Registered Democrat living in New York City, have been registered Republican and often vote with an Independent streak. As an American, one who truly loves the privilege of having been born, raised and lived here my entire life, I do not take my citizenship for granted...ever. So my profound disappointment seeing someone, Glenn Beck,who is making Seven Figures ($18 million plus per annum) as an Entertainment Propagandist orchestrate a slanderous hit job to undermine the stature of an ordinary citizen like Debra Medina, who took a chance to serve the people of the state of Texas, turned into rage and indignation. Glenn Beck illustrated who his masters are and they are not the American people, the folks in the Tea Party movement, "True" Conservatives at all. The legitimate Tea Party Movement represented by folks like Debra Medina at its core is grass roots Americana, those who seek a return to the earnest principles this country was founded upon. I believe in Capitalism, Free Enterprise not serving those who would sooner see America lurch towards Kleptocratic rule by a group of DC Insiders working along side mainstream media disinformationalists.
